Cookies and local storage
Last updated 10 September 2026
Snipify keeps very little in your browser, and none of it is for advertising. There is no tracking pixel, no advertising network and no third party analytics script on this site.
What is stored, and why
- Your sign-in session. When you sign in, your session is stored in your browser's local storage so you stay signed in between visits. Removing it signs you out.
- Sign-in with Google. Signing in through Google briefly involves Google's own cookies on Google's domain, as part of that sign-in. Snipify does not read them.
- Nothing else. No advertising identifiers, no cross-site tracking, no profile built from your browsing.
Video playback
Your source videos and rendered clips are held in private storage. Playback uses short-lived signed links rather than public URLs, so a link you were given stops working after a while and cannot be shared to give someone permanent access.
Removing what is stored
Signing out clears your session. You can also clear site data for this domain in your browser's settings at any time, which signs you out but leaves your account and content untouched. To remove your account and its content, use the data deletion page.
Changes to this page
If Snipify ever adds something that stores more in your browser, this page changes before it ships, and the date at the top changes with it.
