Terms of service

These terms cover your use of Snipify.ai. They are a working draft prepared for legal review. Anything marked [CONFIRM] still needs checking by Snipify.

The service

Snipify stores a video you upload, lets you mark the moments you want, produces short vertical clips from those moments, drafts a caption per destination, and publishes to social accounts you connect, at the time you choose. You mark the moments. Snipify does not decide for you.

Your account

• You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure.
• You must be old enough to enter a contract in your country. [CONFIRM: minimum age.]
• One person or organisation per account, unless we agree otherwise in writing.

Your content

• Your video stays yours. You keep every right in it.
• You grant us only the permission we need to run the service: to store your video, process it into clips, and transmit those clips to the accounts you connect.
• You confirm you have the rights to the video you upload, including any music, footage and contributor permissions, and that publishing it does not break the law.

Connected accounts and platform rules

When you connect a social account you authorise Snipify to publish on your behalf to that account. Each platform has its own rules and limits, and a platform can reject, restrict or remove a post for its own reasons. We show you the platform's own response. We cannot guarantee a post will be accepted, remain visible, or reach anybody.

What you may not do

• Upload content you do not have the rights to, or content that is unlawful.
• Use Snipify to spam, impersonate anybody, or breach a platform's terms.
• Attempt to access another user's videos, clips or connections.

Availability

We work to keep Snipify running, and we do not promise uninterrupted service. Scheduled publishing depends on the platforms accepting our requests. [CONFIRM: whether any uptime commitment is offered on paid plans.]

Payment and cancellation

Ending your use

You can delete your account at any time from Account in the app. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms, and we will tell you why where we lawfully can.
